Old World Meets Modern & Trendy

This current day styled castle is nothing but welcoming – walking in from the heavily stone clad exterior to the plaster finished interior, one feels at ease upon viewing the softly arched interior openings, and beautiful Versailles patterned stone floors. Inspired by the centuries old castles of Europe, the desire was to make certain the interior looked as if it had been remodeled for a more modern style.

Still, elements continue to mesh from room to room.

  • Woods are kept natural in some areas (walnut wood cabinets), but are contrasted by the reclaimed woods in the other areas (as seen in the dining table).

  • Glazed, colored cabinets are a bronzed green color in the kitchen, but are a crackled and washed finish in the mud room.

  • A wooden elements overhead the kitchen island is suspended in a modern keyhole style with mercury glass pendants lighting up the engineered quartz metallic countertop.

  • Venetian plastered walls in copper and steel tones surround a curved mosaic tile wall in the powder bath.

Of course, the infinity edge pool located at the back of the house and outside the covered loggia, is breathtaking as one stands viewing the expansive vistas.
